Let Go and Let God

What is in your hand? Are you holding onto something that will bless you and encourage others? Or are you holding onto something that you've allowed to become an idol because you're afraid God will take it away? Look at the story of Abraham and Sarah. They were childless for decades (literally). Do you not think that they didn't wonder what happened to the promise? Check it out. Sarah decided to let Abraham rendevous with her handmaiden and it produced something that wasn't God's best. He blessed Ishmael, however, His best was still yet to come! Sarah allowed her fear to cause her to settle!! Yes, God, in His perfect timing brought forth the seed that would bring forth His Seed, but a lot of grief could have been avoided if Abraham and Sarah would have just "Let Go and let God!" Let this be your mantra today.....I'm letting go and allowing God to be who He is in my life!! ~V Askew Hall~
